“Tired of wearing the mask”, Sen. Paul’s travel mask mandate resolution
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On Thursday, News 40 spoke with Senator Rand Paul on his resolution to repeal travel mask mandates on public transportation.
On Tuesday, the Senate passed the resolution with bipartisan support voting 57-40.
This comes after TSA’s announcement last Thursday that mask mandates on air plane travel would be extended another month.
Sen. Paul has been outspoken on mandates.
“Whether you’re a mom or dad, republican or independent I think the polls are indicating that people are tired of wearing the damn mask. Whether you want to do this or that really, I think people want that individual choice to make medical decisions for their family and not have the government telling them what to do,” said Paul.
The resolution will now head to the House of Representatives for consideration.
