Thousands donate on KY Gives Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. – According to a report from Kentucky Nonprofit Network (KNN), thousands of Kentuckians made donations on Tuesday.

The report states that $674,521 was raised and donated to 234 nonprofit organizations on the 12th Annual Kentucky Gives Day. The statewide initiative is a 24-hour online giving event host by KNN.

“Thousands of Kentuckians near and far rallied in support of their favorite nonprofits, investing in their work to serve our neighbors and our communities,” said Danielle Clore, KNN’s CEO. “As we celebrate the success of the event’s 12th anniversary, we are grateful and certainly proud of our Kentucky home!”

3,413 donors made 4,187 on this year’s event date on KNN’s website.
