This Black Friday, you can help Hope House’s Affordable Christmas
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With Black Friday just around the corner, your greatest purchase could be giving to someone in need.
Bowling Green-based Hope House Ministries, Inc. is helping to make Christmas gifts more accessible for families this holiday.
Affordable Christmas empowers low-income families to buy gifts at a low price, allowing parents to give gifts to their children.
If you want to donate, there are several sites gathering donations.
On Wednesday, Nov. 29, you can donate at It’s a Wonderful Toy Drive at The Capitol in downtown Bowling Green. Hope House will accept new, unwrapped toys or monetary donations.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” will show onsite at 2 and 6 p.m., free to the public.
On Thursday, Nov. 30, you can also visit the SoKY Ice Rink Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and get $2 off of your ticket when you donate a toy for Affordable Christmas. If you can’t make it on Nov. 30, you can buy tickets here to use any day at the SoKY Ice Rink, and your purchase will help buy toys.
