The SKyPAC hosts Community Day to inspire creativity

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The community celebrated the arts on Saturday.

The SKyPAC hosted a free Community Day designed to inspire creativity by providing pumpkin painting, live shows, and access to art galleries.

Makenzie Belcher, Marketing and Public Relations Assistant for Arts of Southern Kentucky, says events like Community Day provide the community who have not visited the performing arts center a chance to become immersed in the arts.

“This is our chance to actually open our doors and invite people in and show them around with some of the things that they can look forward to when they come in these doors and get them anticipating what’s to come and hopefully generate a love for the arts and all of the hearts of the people that come here.”

Belcher says free Halloween movie screenings will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.
