For over 15 years, Janel Doyle has been the heart and soul of the Toys for Tots program, driven by a deep-rooted commitment to service instilled in her by her mother. Her efforts have touched thousands, highlighting the power of community and compassion.

Tom Harris, a volunteer from the Marine Corps League, says, “Janel has put us on the map. We’ve expanded from 10 to 22 counties during her tenure as coordinator. She’s the glue that holds all this together.”

“We’re constantly here organizing, planning and touching toys,” she says, emphasizing the behind-the-scenes work that makes the program successful.

“We get told thank you a whole, whole lot. And that means a lot,” she says.
