The GameYard Social bar and restaurant to open in fall 2023

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Goodwood Brewing is bringing a new space to gather at in Bowling Green.

The GameYard Social will be a family-friendly bar and restaurant combination located at 1010 State Street. According to Goodwood Holdings, locals can look forward to a backyard setting with interactive games, food and drinks, television and live entertainment.

“Gather around a firepit. Grab a table. Pull up a bar stool,” Chris Sparks of Goodwood Holdings says. “We wanted this concept to be fun and interactive with plenty of room to have a good time. I feel like Bowling Green will be the perfect place to bring this new concept, and I’m excited to launch it in my hometown.”

The experience will include a full kitchen, large outdoor game area, private rooftop dining space and cabana-like areas for rent, the company says.

Interactive yard games for all ages will include cornhole, life-size beer pong, foot pool and Connect Four, duckpin bowling, giant Jenga and more. Indoor and outdoor bars will house many TVs for guests to enjoy, along with craft beers, a variety of bourbons, spirits and cocktails.

As for the food? Guests can expect some American favorites.

Construction is already underway. Opening day is scheduled for fall 2023.
