The Capitol to host screening of Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It turns out you don’t have to travel far to see the Paris Olympics on the big screen.
The Capitol in Bowling Green is hosting a special screening of the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony on Friday, July 26 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
This is the first-ever library-hosted livestream event of the Summer Olympics, according to WCPL.
Tickets are not required for this event.
The library also shared a fun fact – this is the first time in the history of the Olympic Summer Games that the opening ceremony will not be in a stadium but instead in the heart of the city near the Seine River.
If you still want to watch from home, you can catch the Paris Olympics on WNKY NBC 40.
