Take a look: Mammoth Valley Park experience starts this weekend

CAVE CITY, Ky. – Out with the old, and in with the newly renovated Mammoth Valley Park!

The adventure park located off I-65 in Cave City has been apart of the South-Central Kentucky community since the 1970’s.

Mammoth Valley Park co-owner, Robert Reynolds says that he remembers visiting the park as a child and was disappointed to learn that what was formerly known as Kentucky Action Park had closed in 2020 because of COVID.

“We did a little research, and it looked like a great opportunity for us to bring something back that’s been a staple in the Cave City Community for 50 years,” said Reynolds.

Childhood memories and perfect timing helped to fuel plans for the park’s reopening. Today, the park features an adrenaline rush for the whole family with ziplines, go-carts and the famous Alpine slide.

“It’s really fun to do all the cool stuff here and just get together with your family, and just have fun,” says Macy Reynolds.

Mammoth Valley Park is open Monday through Sunday, weather permitting. For more information, visit Mammoth Valley Park’s website.
