Suspect in custody after hit-and-run in Edmonson County

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – Deputies say one person is in custody after a hit-and-run in Edmonson County on Thursday.

Around 8:17 a.m., the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred on Chalybeate Road.

Deputies say a quick response led to the apprehension of a fleeing suspect.

An identity has not been released at this time.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect has been taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
