Suspect from Westmoreland charged with murder in teen’s death

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – A 17-year-old from Westmoreland, Tennessee is facing a murder charge in connection with a teen whose remains were found last week.
According to the Hendersonville Police Department, the suspect is charged with first-degree murder. He is being held at the Sumner County Detention Center.
Police stated Saturday that he was arrested in connection with the death of Trinity Bostic, a 17-year-old reported missing in Macon County, Tennessee on June 29.
According to police, a worker picking up trash along the roadway found Bostic’s remains on July 3 in a small wood line near New Shackle Island Road in Hendersonville.
The remains were later positively identified as Bostic.
The Hendersonville Police Department stated it suspects foul play in the case. The investigation is ongoing.
