SUNRISE SPECIAL – Light the Path

For today’s Sunrise Special Interview, we met with Karen Foley to talk about Light the Path. On Sunday, everyone is invited to participate in this community-wide light vigil. This weekend is the one year anniversary of the deadly tornadoes that hit Kentucky.

The community is encouraged to gather together and turn on lights to shine towards the sky at 6:11 pm. This event is approximately one year and 17 hours since the tornado began it’s destructive path in Warren County. This will be done to honor the seventeen lives lost in the December tornados.

The lights are instructed to be on for 17 minutes, also to remember the 17 lives lost.

You can pick up luminary lights for Light the Path at Preston Miller Park, 1-3 PM or while supplies last!
