Sunrise Children’s Services holds “4 Mile Run & Walk”

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – It was an early start to the day for over a hundred avid runners as Sunrise Children’s Services held a 4 mile run and walk event at Chaney’s Dairy Barn on the Fourth of July.

Sunrise Children’s Services is a non-profit organization that does a variety of things such as foster care and therapeutic services for at risk youth. News 40 spoke to regional director Traci Lawrence about the event, she said she thought it was a great idea being that she loves to run and has been aware of Bowling Green and Warren County’s strong running community. The event served as a small fundraiser for the organization.
