Students participate in wax museum project at W. R. McNeill

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A school project involving in depth research took place Friday at a Bowling Green Independent school featuring famous figures in history. It’s been going on for years and it always makes for a good school day.

News 40 visited W. R. McNeill Elementary to see a “wax museum” history project full of people from Prince to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The event is preceded by days of preparation, writing a script and building a physical presentation.

All around the gym, kids struck poses and waited to be “activated” to orate a small biography about their character. The project is not only meant to provide students with fun, but also a cool way to educate kids and maybe inspire something inside them.
