Students explore future possibilities through Legal Diversity Pipeline Project

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- ELPO Law took area high schools on a field trip as a part of their Legal Diversity Pipeline Project.

Students took tours on Thursday of the Warren County Regional Jail and Bowling Green Police Department, along with observing judge Potter’s court session this morning.

The Legal Diversity Pipeline Project is a program that helps mentor students that would like to enter the field of law, with a focus on diversity.

Ashley Carter, chief marketing officer at ELPO Law, says, “You’re going to be more comfortable if the person looks like you, talks like you, has the same background as you. We just really want to encourage, people from all different backgrounds, that there are opportunities for you.”

This is the largest group ELPO Law has taken on the field trip since the program began in 2017.
