Stephens named director of pupil personnel for BGISD

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Independent School District announced its new Director of Pupil Personnel on Thursday.
Clay Stephens will join the administrative staff on July 1, 2026.
Stephens is currently an assistant principal at Bowling Green High School.
In his new role, Stephens will be responsible for maintaining attendance records, overseeing mental health and social work services, and supervising the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers.
Stephens joined BGISD in 2020 as an alternative school and physical education teacher and assistant BGHS Football Coach.
Stephens played for the WKU Football team.
