South Warren High School’s Avery Cole elected Kentucky FFA Vice President
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- South Warren High School’s FFA chapter has its first state officer in school history.
Avery Cole has been elected the Kentucky FFA Vice President for 2024 to 2025 year. For the South Warren High School FFA chapter, she has served as the secretary during her sophomore year and as president during her junior and senior years.
Cole has found her love for agriculture through raising, showing, training and the daily care and management of the almost 40 horses on her family farm.
When asked about what the next year looks like, Avery says, “We’ll be going across the Commonwealth and visiting with chapters, both high school and middle school chapters, to help promote Kentucky FFA and demonstrate that agriculture is so much more than cows, sows and plows. My teammates and I really want to make sure that everyone can find their place within FFA and agriculture as well.”
Cole and 11 other state officers are serving more than 23,000 FFA members in the Commonwealth.
