South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force arrests man wanted on federal gun, drug charges

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky.- According to a release from the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, multiple agencies conducted a traffic stop on a 2026 Dodge Charger registered to Norris Davidson from Nashville, Tennessee. Davidson was known to have an active arrest warrant out of the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky, for firearms and drug trafficking.

Davidson was taken into custody without incident, and a probable cause search was conducted on his vehicle. During the search, authorities located suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and multiple firearms.

Davidson is now facing charges of trafficking in a controlled substance in addition to his active federal arrest warrant.

The release states the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Homeland Security Investigations, Kentucky State Police Interdiction Team, and the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest of Davidson.
