SKyPAC breaks ground on new Robert P. Ramsey Annex

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center broke ground Tuesday on a new construction project that is sure to help improve operations.

The Robert P. Ramsey Annex will replace the movie viewing area next to SKyPAC and stand four stories tall, housing administrative officers as well as two new rehearsal spaces and areas to build props and sets, which will relieve the organization from using Sugar Maple Square.

Jeff Reed, who serves as the president and CEO of the SKyPAC, said he is thankful to the state legislature for the $8.5 million investment that will completely cover the project and the local leaders of Bowling Green who follow the legacy of previous leadership who continue to look forward and invest in the arts and entertainment.
