Six Purples sign to continue athletic careers at college level

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tuesday in the Bowling Green High School Performing Arts Center, six of the school’s top athletes made the next step in their athletic and academic careers by signing their college letters of intent.

News 40’s Cole Scott has more on the big day for a handful of Purples, and here’s where each athlete is headed:

  • Braylon Banks – Wittenberg University (Basketball)
  • Jace Wardlow – Wittenberg University (Basketball)
  • Joseph Hurt – Shawnee Community College (Basketball)
  • Luke Idlett – Transylvania University (Basketball)
  • Nataya Wardlow – Volunteer State Community College (Women’s Basketball)
  • Evan Schallert – Rend Lake College (Baseball)
