Simpson County recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – Local officials gathered together in Simpson County Monday to bring awareness to and prevent sexual assault.
Hope Harbor, Inc. says it gathered with the community as a proclamation was signed, designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.
Hope Harbor, Inc. is a nonprofit providing crisis counseling to those who have survived or who have been impacted by sexual assault.
In addition, Lt. Freeman of the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office was in attendance for the dedication to prevent sexual violence.
