Simpson County man arrested for not complying with sex offender registry

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Simpson County Sheriff’s Office says a man was arrested following an investigation after he did not comply with the sex offender registry.

On Aug. 19 around 10 p.m., Simpson County Sheriff’s Office deputies completed an investigation and arrested Christion Price at an address on Morgantown Road in Simpson County for failure to comply with the sex offender registry.

The sheriff’s office stated they received tips and intelligence from several residents of the area who were concerned that a non-compliant sex offender was living at an apartment in Walnut Forrest. In addition, authorities stated he had also been seen at the local playground in the presence of minors.

Price was lodged in the Simpson County Detention Center and has since been released.
