Simpson County Detention Center bolsters re-entry efforts

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Staff of the Simpson County Detention Center have brought something new to the to the facility to continue investing in the inmates.

The South Central Workforce Development Board has visited the local jail the past two weeks to help bring in another element of goals that inmates can attain, with a work ready boot camp. This week, the women of the facility received OSHA training as well as learn CPR and how to properly go through a formal job interview.
