Simpson County Animal Shelter asks to consider adoption

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Simpson County Animal Shelter is asking to consider adopting a new friend into your family!

Six days ago, the shelter made a social media post stating they had no room left at the location. However, some kennels have since opened up due to some adoptions.

Despite this, the shelter stated they are a small, 16 kennel shelter and stay full most of the time.

In fact, they stated they have been staying full for months.

The post went on to state, “Please, if you or anyone you know is looking to add a new member to your family, we have plenty of perfect, adoptable dogs.”

The dog in the photo above, Althea, was adopted a couple months back but was returned at what the shelter stated is no fault of her own. She is available for immediate adoption.
