Sheriff confirms fatal shooting in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Warren County on Saturday.

Sheriff Brett Hightower says one person is dead after a shooting incident at the 200 block of East Heights Avenue in Bowling Green that occurred just after 12 pm.

Hightower said multiple calls came in from the neighborhood saying multiple shots were fired and three cars drove away from the scene.

WCSO located one person dead with a gunshot wound.

Hightower says detectives, a drone team, and processors are still on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing
