Sexual assault awareness event at Western Kentucky University

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Hope Harbor and Western Kentucky University’s Gender & Women’s studies are coming together once again.

The event is meant to provide everyone with the platform to voice their truth through some sort of creative writing, be it poetry or a short story.

Associate English professor Jessica Folk said “I believe it can be therapeutic… I’ve experienced that with students in my creative writing class…”

The event will take place April 9th at 5:00 p.m. in Cherry Hall 125.
