Server at Louisville Waffle House goes viral for singing Christmas song
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Waffle House server’s impromptu Christmas performance in Kentucky has captured the attention of thousands after a customer posted video of the moment on social media.
WAVE reports customers waiting for their orders of hash browns and coffee this week got a bonus Christmas concert they’ll never forget.
Augustina Tugbe says she and her friends stopped into the Waffle House on Taylorsville Road in Louisville for a bite.
The friends wanted to share meal together before going their separate ways for Christmas.
What they weren’t expecting for their meal was a performance on the side.
Their server, Treneese, started singing an acapella rendition of “‘O Holy Night” to a nearby table, bringing the usual lunch rush to a complete stop.
Augustina says she was moved by the experience, and she posted her recording on TikTok.
The video quickly gained tens of thousands of views and likes.
Treneese’s talent has been racking up comments and compliments from viewers in awe.
Some, Tugbe says, now hope to come by this Waffle House and catch an encore performance.
Tugbe hopes her video opens a door that can become a life changing opportunity for Treneese.
