Scottsville children donned their best costumes for Halloween parade

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Downtown Scottsville was full of princesses and superheroes, chickens and bees, all buzzing around the square in search of sweet treats.

The annual Youth Halloween Parade is a trick or treat opportunity for nearby children.

The event has been a tradition for the Allen County Public Library for about 20 years.

Nearly 200 participants from around the county came out Friday morning to trick or treat around the square in Scottsville.

The event included nearby businesses as well as law enforcement in a positive environment for the children.
