Scottsville woman arrested on kidnapping, endangerment charges
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- A Scottsville woman is facing multiple charges after police say they found a missing juvenile in her attic.
Around 12:30 a.m. on March 21, the Scottsville Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to the home of 42-year-old Donna Spengler, at 500 Parkway Drive, concerning a potential missing juvenile.
Upon arriving at the home, Spengler told police that she was the only occupant of the residence. However, after some investigation, authorities say they discovered the missing juvenile hidden in the attic of Spengler’s home. Both individuals were arrested. The juvenile was transported to the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center. Spengler was taken to the Allen County Detention Center.
She now faces multiple charges, including kidnapping of a minor, hindering prosecution or apprehension, custodial interference. endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful imprisonment.
