Scottsville woman arrested on gun, drug charges

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman is in custody after law enforcement executed a search warrant on her home.

Tuesday, the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force executed a warrant at the residence of Karen L. Wyche, 46, located on the 200 block of North Welch Street.

During the investigation, officials say they discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and other illegal narcotics.

Wyche is charged with possession of handgun by convicted felon, first-degree possession of controlled substance, second offense, first-degree possession of controlled substance – (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wyche is lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
