Scottsville man charged with drug trafficking

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing drug charges after a search at his home on Monday.

The Scottsville Police Department says it worked with the Allen County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant off of the 500 block of S E Third Street in Scottsville regarding an illegal narcotic trafficking.

Authorities say they located 66.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine as well as items consistent with drug trafficking, along with U.S. currency.

Fifty-five-year-old Steven Mandrell of Scottsville was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

Mandrell is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, persistent felony offender I and possession of marijuana.
