Scottsville man charged with burglary

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville, Kentucky man is facing charges after police say he allegedly entered an apartment and stabbed someone.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers received a call around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday about a stabbing off of East Maple Street at ALCO Apartments.
Police say they located the victim, who was transported by EMS to The Medical Center at Bowling Green. His condition is unknown at this time.
As police investigated, they say they learned Cain A. Pennington, 35, of Scottsville allegedly went into the apartment and stabbed the victim. Police say they later located Pennington in Bowling Green, where he was arrested with help from the Bowling Green Police Department.
Pennington is charged with first-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
He was taken to the Allen County Detention Center.
