Scare on the Square to be held this weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – There are some new features to look forward to at this year’s Scare on the Square.

According to Downtown BGKY, the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society will be onsite with adoptable pets at Fountain Square Park.

Concessions and inflatables will also be available. In addition, families can look forward to free trick-or-treating on the square and meeting Bowling Green police and firefighters.

These events are set for Saturday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., local children can participate in a costume contest, while a Thriller flash mob will start at 4 p.m.

Practice for the flash mob is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. at One Roof event space.

All square streets will close for the events from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. To learn more, click here.
