Scammers targeting Allen County residents following winter storm
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is warning county residents about a scam.
ACSO says it is receiving phone calls about scammers who are claiming to be businesses and contractors offering services.
The scammers tell residents that FEMA will pay for the services.
ACSO asks residents to call the Allen County Judge-Executive’s Office at 270-237-3631 to find out if the business has an approved license in Allen County.
