RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – One man is facing charges after police say it was reported he pushed his way into a Logan County home on Saturday.

According to a uniform citation, the Russellville Police Department responded to Ridgewood apartments around 1:30 a.m. regarding a disturbance in progress where the caller stated Stacey Grady, 47, of Russellville had shown up intoxicated and “forcefully pushed his way” into a residence.

Police say the caller also reported Grady has pushed her onto the ground.

Upon arrival, police say they saw Grady driving a black 2003 Chevy Tahoe while leaving the scene.

Grady then pulled into Northbrook apartments, authorities say, and officers activated their emergency equipment. Police say Grady then parked his vehicle and began to run.

After about 50 yards, police say Grady stopped and began following commands. Police say they could smell the odor of alcoholic beverage on Grady.

Grady was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center.

Police say they spoke with the caller, who stated she sustained abrasions to her arms when Grady pushed her down. In addition, police say the caller stated Grady was not supposed to be at the residence.

Grady is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense, third-degree fleeing or evading police, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) minor injury and second-degree burglary.
