Running and walking for a cause

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Despite Saturday morning’s heavy rain showers and gusty winds, Alpha Delta Pi’s chapter at Western Kentucky University the Epsilon Delta chapter, held the 8th annual Run for Ronald, a charity 5K run and walk that benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In addition to raising money through race fees, there was also a raffle and picnic held to raise money for the charity.

Seventy-five runners participated in the 5K run and 40 walkers were in the one-mile walk which raised a preliminary total of $18,000 as of Saturday night.
