Rescue on the Rocks bourbon raffle benefitting local humane society

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An ongoing event is benefitting a local humane society in Bowling Green.

Rescue on the Rocks is bourbon raffle featuring 90 bottles of sought-after bourbon to raise money for the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.

Each entry offers a chance to win while saving lives of shelter pets.

Organizers say tickets are $100 each, and there will be 38 winners. The raffle began with seven potential early bird winners, 30 smaller prize winners and one grand prize winner. Now, the humane society says it has two new early bird prize drawings that include Pappy Van Winkle bourbon and more.

Even if you win a smaller prize, organizers say you will still be eligible for the grand prize.

The next early bird drawings will take place Nov. 20 and Dec. 4, while the grand prize drawing is Dec. 18.

The humane society says 100% of proceeds go directly to supporting the BGWCHS mission.
