Remember 211 this holiday season, 24-hour assistance available

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – United Way of Southern Kentucky is a nonprofit in the area that does a few things, including referral services for people in the BRADD region.

You can dial 211 at any time, any day for various things like rent or utility assistance, tutoring programs and more as they strive to make life a little easier for those in need when a challenge arises.

News 40 spoke to 211 contact specialist Erin Caudill, who said calls tend to go up around holiday time, and that’s why she’s there answering the phones.

The 24-hour hotline 211 has been proving to be a beneficial resource for the surrounding areas as they make it their mission to help a caller with their dozens of contacts they can connect them with to provide help.
