Public Theatre of Kentucky hosting sensory-friendly show on Dec. 15

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you’re looking for some fun this holiday season, look no further than the Public Theatre of Kentucky’s production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

Starting Thursday night through Dec. 22, the Public Theatre of Kentucky is putting on the 22nd annual production of this play.

With fun being had by both the audience and the cast, the directors at the public theatre want to share this holiday joy with everyone.

That’s why they are making the matinee performance on Dec. 15 a sensory-friendly version of the show.

Board member Chad Smith says, “Our autism program is something we work very hard on to be an inclusive theater. If your kids have a willingness to participate, we want them to be able to participate.”

The show time for this sensory-friendly showing of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15.

For more information on how to get tickets for the sensory-friendly show, contact executive director of the Public Theatre of Kentucky Amber Turner or visit the theatre’s website at ptkbg.org.
