Project complete on portion of Veterans Outer Loop in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A maintenance project to Veterans Outer Loop is complete and has brought noticeable improvements to the road.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 shared images of the final result Thursday morning.

The preventative work added a new driving surface to KY 3600 Veterans Outer Loop in Barren County.

This brings 2.5 new miles of new driving surface for drivers.

The new surface is from KY 1297 to U.S. 68 and will extend the life of the current pavement, according to KYTC.
