(CNN) – The Powerball jackpot has now surpassed $1 billion.

It now stands at an estimated $1.09 billion after there was no winner in Monday night’s drawing.

Six tickets did match the first five numbers, and those winners get $1 million each.

Powerball tickets cost $2, and the next drawing is Wednesday night.

Monday marked 39 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner.
