Possible interchange coming to I-65 in Warren County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local officials are looking at the possibility of adding a new interchange to Interstate 65 in South Central Kentucky.
The Kentucky Cabinet of Transportation and Highway Safety is teaming up with local officials and businesses to discuss the potential for adding an interchange to the interstate.
The entrance and exit ramps would be added somewhere between I-165 exit, formerly called the Natcher Parkway, and the next exit in Franklin.
The interchange would be in Warren County, but where exactly has not yet been decided, although Carter Simms area is a possibility, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Wes Watt.
This interchange is still only under discussion, but a public forum will be set up in the near future to discuss what people would like to see happen with the possible addition.
