Portion of Smallhouse Road closed on Thursday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of Smallhouse Road is set to be closed this week.

According to Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, both lanes of Smallhouse Road will close between Roselawn Way and Barber Way starting Thursday, Aug. 22.

The closure is expected to take place from 9 p.m. until approximately 1 a.m.

BGMU says the closure is for a sewer manhole replacement.

Detours will be in place for motorists, and crews work will work as quickly as possible.
