UPDATE: Portion of Adams Street to be closed

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of a downtown Bowling Green road is closed for utility work.

Beginning on Dec. 17, Adams Street closed between E. 12th Ave. and E. 14th Ave. due to an ongoing water main rehabilitation project, transportation officials say.

Detours will be in place.

The work is expected to be complete by Friday, Dec. 20 due to weather delays.

BGMU says crews will work as quickly and safety as possible during this time.
