Police release identity of victim in Bypass shooting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Police have released the identity of a shooting victim that was found at a Bowling Green business.

According to Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward, the victim has been identified as 39-year-old Robert L. Dark of Bowling Green.

Dark is listed as the owner of Martin Auto Mart on the car dealership’s website.

On Wednesday, officers responded at 12:21 p.m. to Martin Auto Mart at 1001 U.S. 31-W Bypass.

Upon arrival, Ward says officers located one dead male inside of the business.

Further details surrounding this case have not yet been released.
