Police looking to identify shoplifters

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Police are reviewing video footage to try to identify suspects involved in a robbery at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The suspects fled from police. Bowling Green Police Department handed the pursuit off to Kentucky State Police who followed the car to the Tennessee border.

When the car was stopped, $6,800 worth of stolen merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods was found in the back of the car.

Jordan Evans of Nashville was arrested and a warrant for shoplifting was obtained. All others involved fled the scene.

“We are just trying to identify everyone that was involved,” said BGPD Officer Ronnie Ward.

Police will continue to review video footage to identify the suspects and obtain warrants in order to take further action.
