Police called to a reported bomb, item found was determined not to be an explosive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department were called to a residence on Westen Ave. after reports of a bomb found on the property.

Officials say the item thought reported to be a bomb turned out not to be any threat and officials cleared the scene.

There were no injuries in the incident and police say the area is safe.
