Phone scammer claiming to be deputy with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- For the second time in as many weeks, a scammer is making phone calls and pretending to be a deputy with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a news release from the law enforcement agency, someone is making calls claiming to be Deputy Riley Walker.

The scammer is leaving voicemails asking that you return his call immediately because it’s an urgent matter.

The phone number that the scammer is using is (270) 262-2718.

Last week, authorities said a scammer was making calls claiming to be a person named Deputy Barry Riley.

If you have any questions to the authenticity of the call, you’re asked to call the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
