Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Allen County, flown for treatment

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an injury collision.

The office says deputies responded to the 400 block of Barren River Dam Road to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Tuesday evening.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a man in a ditch. The man was injured.

Deputies say the man was treated by Allen County EMS and flown to Nashville for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
