Pedestrian flown for treatment after being struck by a vehicle in Glasgow
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is investigating an injury accident involving a pedestrian on Tuesday.
Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to an accident with injury at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and N L Roger Wells Boulevard.
The department’s investigation shows a car operated by David Martin, of Cave City, was traveling south on S L Roger Wells Boulevard.
Flatt says Martin did not see a pedestrian, Julie Vaughn, walking across S L Roger Wells Boulevard.
Vaughn was struck by Martin’s car.
Vaughn was transported to TJ Samson Hospital by the Barren/Metcalfe EM for treatment of injuries.
She was later flown to Skyline Hospital for continued treatment.
