Parker places high at 2025 Adidas Track Nationals
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This past weekend, the 2025 Adidas Track Nationals took place up at North Carolina A&T State University, and one local athlete not only competed, but represented the Warren County area at a high level.
Korbyn Parker, a member of the South Warren Middle School Spartan track and field team, travelled to compete on the national stage, and returned back in Bowling Green a top 10 finisher in the boys 100-meter hurdle.
In just 14.83 seconds, Parker ran from start to finish, placing seventh in his division.
Despite it being just his second season with the program, Parker has grown as a competitor thanks to being a multi-sport athlete with the swim team, and with high hopes for the future, he shared how honored he is to represent his school with this top finish.
“ It’s just like crazy to me. I’m not used to getting state [or] nationals because last year I fell and broke my wrist, so I didn’t get to run that full season. This year, I’m surprised I made it this far and I just put a lot of work into it,” said Parker. “I’m very happy to represent South Warren Middle School and [South Warren] High School and to strive and work harder.”
